BECOMING LUCID

BECOMING LUCID

In the centre of a raging storm resides a small, glowing sanctuary. Inside, sitting by a dirt hill, Finn meets a silent girl who pulls him into the storm. After he wakes from his dream, Finn should be excited about leaving behind a life that has been coloured by grief, loss, and his fragmented family, but what he finds within the storm will bring him face to face with what he fears.

A story by psychologist Nathaniel Wells, Becoming Lucid is a dreamlike work of experimental fiction that asks you to consider what you would do with the power to control your dreams. Would you run from what you have lost, or try in vain to recreate it anew?
